Mighty Mouse Video's

The Boing Boing craze swept the world over 6 years ago. But I never did get into Boing Boing they way some of my friends did. Today I thought "Why not? I use Google Reader. One simple click and I can try it out." Funny thing is, the most resent post on the feed was a Mighty Mouse Post. What are the chances of that? So, on my first trip to Boing Boing I found this All Kinds of Stuff blog.

Edit Firefox's Dictionary

Firefox has a really nifty spell check feature, and I use the heck out of it. I recently found out how annoying it is that the “Add to dictionary” button is directly under the corrected words, causing me to accidentally add the misspelled word to the dictionary instead of correcting it.

To remove the misspelled word from the dictionary you will need to make you way to your profile directory and edit persdict.dat. It is, simply, a file with all of the words you have added to your dictionary.

Profile directory's can be found at these paths.
Windows XP
C:\Documents and Settings\**User Name**\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\_________.default\
Windows Vista
C:\users\**User Name**\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\_________.default\
Mac OSX
~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/_________.default/
Linux
~/.mozilla/firefox/_________.default/

Halo 3

Halo 3 is finally here. No doubt it will change many lives. I can't wait for the new Xbox360 hardware to be put on the shelves. I just can't justify buying a 360 when so many hardware failures occur.

Wonderful rainy days.

Today the rain started. This puts a damper on my commute, but on a positive note it also makes it easier to stay in and play games. Drew and I booted up the PS2 and put in Psychonauts last night. Honestly I was hoping for more. Maybe because my father is a psychologist I was looking for something that exceeded my expectations and would live timelessly on my shelf. I loved the direction they went with the design concepts. Seriously, the idea of soring "emotional baggage" and confronting "figments of the imagination" are classic. But the art is average at best and doesn't seem well supported by technology. Somewhere on this game was a great designer, it's unfortunate that person didn't work with a team as good as they were.
